We go to great lengths to produce healthy, genetically sound puppies to be a member of your family. All dogs are sold with good faith. No dog is sold for any specific use of guarantee of performance, such as, brood bitch, stud dog, or field trial competitor.

Until 26 months of age, Seller guarantees your puppy will achieve an OFA hip rating of borderline. Hips must be x-rayed by a veterinarian according to OFA guidelines and the films submitted to the OFA. A copy of the films and OFA report must be provided to Seller on or before the dog reaches 26 months of age, to make a claim on this guarantee. For female, radiographs must not be taken within 30 days before or after her heat cycle. Upon receipt of hip films and consultation with their own veterinarian, Seller reserves the right to a second opinion of their choosing of the dog’s hips, including another set of films, at the buyer’s expense. Please use an experienced, qualified veterinarian to do your OFA films. Your puppy's eyes are guaranteed for 12 months. A CAER (formerly CERF) exam must be performed by a certified veterinarian ophthalmologist according to CAER standards and proof thereof supplied to Seller on or before the dog reaches 12 months of age. If the dog fails the exam on or before 12 month of age the breeder will refund one – half of the original price of the puppy/dog. If dog is able to get a CAER number, this is the first steps in reversing the Limited Registration. Seller reserves the right to a second opinion of its choosing (at buyer’s expense) for any eye issue claimed.

OR: Because we hope the dog will become an important member of your family, it is not necessary to return it or destroy it to collect on this agreement. Should you have a problem and want to keep the dog, we will upon proof of hip dysplasia or eye defect, refund one – half of the original purchase price of the dog. The male or female must be neutered or spayed and proof of the same provided to us.

The OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) shall be the sole judge regarding hip dysplasia and the CERF (Canine Eye Registration Foundation) shall be the sole judge regarding eye defects.

It is understood that the above warranties are expressly regarding congenital, hereditary defects and any physical injury to the dog voids this warranty . If the dog is bred before the OFA/CERF certifications are attained, the guarantee is voided. This guarantee is not transferable if the dog is sold or transferred to a new owner.
